Supports patients with early-stage breast cancer who were diagnosed within the past 24 months, have a biopsy-confirmed diagnosis, and are currently receiving active treatment.
Living Waters Financial Assistance Program
for Florida Residents
The Beautiful Gate Living Waters Fund supports patients with:
- Early-stage breast cancer who were diagnosed within the last 24-months,
- Have a biopsy-confirmed diagnosis, and
- Are currently receiving active treatment.
QUALIFYING TREATMENTS
- Cancer-removal surgery, including mastectomy, lumpectomy, axillary dissection, or sentinel lymph node biopsy
- Chemotherapy
- Radiation therapy
NON-QUALIFYING TREATMENTS
- Breast reconstruction
- Long-term hormone or targeted therapy, including Tamoxifen, Fareston, Arimidex, Aromasin, Femara, Zoladex/Lupron, Megace, or Halostestin
Treatment Assistance for Metastatic Breast Cancer
The following organizations may offer financial assistance to people living with metastatic breast cancer:
- Susan G. Komen Foundation: Early-stage applicants generally must have been diagnosed within the past 24 months; this timeline is waived for people living with metastatic breast cancer.
- Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) Fund: Applicants may qualify if they are receiving active treatment for early-stage breast cancer or are living with metastatic breast cancer. The original diagnosis date does not limit eligibility for metastatic applicants who have an active management plan.
- CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation: Applicants need a confirmed diagnosis and an active treatment plan verified by the prescribing physician. No limit is stated for the original diagnosis date.
